Experienced New York real estate professional Michael Moshan is also the co-executive producer and co-songwriter of Rock the SAT, a critically acclaimed study guide that uses original rock music to help students memorize crucial SAT vocabulary words. Rock the SAT was published by McGraw Hill in 2006. It received national attention in 2007 and become a popular teaching tool in classrooms across the country, with students making their own music videos to Rock the SAT music.

In 2015, Michael Moshan, together with his song-writing partner David Mendelsohn, wrote, recorded and produced Rock the SAT Volume 2, adding six more SAT vocabulary-packed tunes to the Rock the SAT lexicon. The songs are in the same style as Rock the SAT and organically embed 20-25 vocabulary words into each song, together with a synonym or short definition close by. Rock the SAT, Volume 2, is available on iTunes.

Michael Moshan attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned a bachelor of arts in political science in 1991. He played Varsity Tennis for three years, earning Wash U's Tennis Team's Sportsmanship Award his senior year. He then received his JD at Cardozo School of Law. He has been a pioneer and community leader in Williamsburg Brooklyn, devoting his time to his community including running McCarren Tennis's popular advanced tennis ladder, as well as coaching his son's local soccer team. He is married and has two energetic boys.
